This Day The Lord Has Made

I am glad in some way
He made this day
So I can say
The Lord has made this day.
Be it with rain
Or even with pain,
Or a day with gain,
It is still a day the Lord has made.
He gives to us each day
Some sort or way
So we can say
Today is the day the Lord has made.
Everyday that He has made
His love to us will cascade
And will always be better than a parade;
For a parade
Is only for a day
His love is everyday.
